Acupuncture increases WBC count

My 35-year old female patient has received 46 treatments from me since April 25, 2012. She has been suffering from lupus for many years now. She recently had her white blood cell count checked to see how much the acupuncture has helped her. Her WBC count increased to the highest that it had ever been.

Prior to our work together, her WBC count was at a 3.1. It is now 4.3.

A normal WBC should be at least 3.8.

W.B.C. (White Blood Cell Count)
Normal Adult Range: 3.8 – 10.8 thous/mcl
Optimal Adult Reading: 7.3
Higher ranges are found in children, newborns and infants.
