Changes in my practice
There are some changes going on in my acupuncture practice due to the challenges that our economy has been facing. I have done my best to keep my doors open at the Laguna Hills clinic, but my business also has faced some difficulties and it has been rather hard to keep low rates and keep up with the rising overhead. My rates have taken immediate changes and so has my location. The information in this letter explains how I am conducting business currently and for the near future. I appreciate your understanding.
Clinic rates:
Initial treatment: $100
Follow-up treatment: $80
Common Room follow-up treatment: $60 (I’m not certain if I’ll have this option in my next clinic.)
Hours: Some Saturdays beginning at 10 a.m.; some weekdays
My home clinic:
Initial treatment: $100
Follow-up treatment: $60 Semi-private
Follow-up treatment with 15-minute massage: $80 Semi-private (until the end of 2008)
Follow-up treatment with 30-minute massage: $100 Private (until the end of 2008)
2-hour slots daily: $40 ONLY on yoga mat on the carpet or seated on couch; FIRST COME-FIRST SERVE
Hours: Monday-Friday 10-8 p.m.
BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 2009 office/home clinics:
$100 initial acupuncture session
$80 follow-up acupuncture session
$100 acupuncture with back or neck massage
$130 acupuncture with back AND neck massage
$150 acupuncture with back, neck AND arm massage
$175 acupuncture with full body massage
$40 herbal consultation, which includes herbs
House calls:
Within 10.0 miles from my home address $120 (up to 3 people)
Within 15.0 miles from my home address: $150 (up to 5 people)
Anywhere in Orange County (not including Long Beach): $300 (up to 10 people)
Anywhere in San Diego: $400 (up to 10 people)
Anywhere in Los Angeles: $500 (up to 10 people)
- Treatments are up to 3 hours
- I can bring my massage table for a $50 service fee; otherwise, people can be treated on furniture.
- $25/25-minute massage
- 48-hour rescheduling
- Treatments must be pre-paid. No refunds.
