When I first started at the new location in Lake Forest just towards the end of March, one of my longterm patients told me that she loves my new clinic and has faith that I will create magic here. Downsizing is humbling, but I am more grateful than I have ever been in the past. I still have a place where I can create and be a witness to acupuncture magic.
This week is extra spectacular. I see patients daily. Lives change for the better daily at my healing center. Saturday was unique in that a new patient with a kidney infection decided to give me a try before going to her MD. She suffered horribly from moderately severe pain due to a kidney infection. Within minutes of using Dr. Tan’s Balance Method acupuncture, her pain decreased by 50%. She went home with two specific formulas for her kidney infection: herbal antibiotics and a formula to treat the disease in the kidneys, as well as treat the underlying problem. Being a new patient, she was AMAZED. I do this all day long, so sometimes I forget how magical it can be to a person who has never been exposed to Dr. Tan’s Balance Method acupuncture.
As a responsible acupuncturist, I explained to her that her pain may get worse before it gets better. She did leave with pain and she did feel zero energy on Sunday. She only had enough energy to lay down the day after her treatment.
I checked up with her each day after Saturday. On Monday, she felt much better. Her appetite returned last night. Today, as I had anticipated, her life is back. She told me over the phone that she feels 85-90% better.
I advised her to continue with the Herbal ABX and Dissolve KS until the bottles are done. I requested that she do another treatment before the end of the week and advised her that she should do a different formula for 3-6 months to strengthen her kidneys and other internal organs.
It should be noted that I did advise her that if she felt horrible and desperate on Sunday that she should seek advice from a medical doctor. If they were just going to give her antibiotics, I advised her to either take the drugs or the herbal antibiotics. There is no need to take both.
I advised her to do acupuncture as often as possible and that the treatment would take 48-72 hours to really have an affect on the kidney infection.
Today is Tuesday, 72 hours after her treatment. I informed her that the peak of the treatment would happen 2-4 days after her treatment. I expect that she’ll continue to get better. She works as a bartender/food server, so she stands all day. She’s also a student. I advised her to not work and to put aside all homework. I even wrote a letter to her teacher to please accept her paper late as the patient just needed to rest for the entire weekend.

As a side note, the treatment and the Dissolve KS was for kidney infection, as well as for kidney stones.
When you know of someone with an emergency, an effective acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist can be very helpful.

This is during the Community Treatment time. This is for continuing patients. If you are a new patient, you may receive this treatment for only $60 during your first visit. The Self-Esteem is not a comprehensive treatment. This is not geared for the treatment of pain. I will not be asking you questions that relate to your overall health, as I would with patients who come in for a comprehensive treatment.
This is a new treatment that I am offering to Orange County. There is a lot of negative energy spreading around the world and I want to move our Qi as a global society.
